“Trapped in the house for two years during COVID, I discovered genealogy. From its vast collection, the Laurel County Historical Society provided critical documents that cinched my application to join the Daughters of the American Revolution. I've since become a devoted supporter.”
— Marysue Vidro
“History’s glimpse brings light to our present and our future. As a member and volunteer of the historical society, it is satisfying to view and help preserve, in some small way, a portion of those glimpses.”
— J.P. Benge
“I'm so grateful to have the treasure of the Laurel County Historical Society in our community. To cherish, value, and preserve records and relics from the past is a thing of value. I have used the Historical Society for my own research and I've also donated materials for others to enjoy. I'm honored to be a member of this valuable group.”
